Officially formed in 2017, BLOCK Architects was created after founding The BLOCK Project; an innovative housing project where efficient, sustainable, and community supported homes for the homeless are constructed in residential backyards. Since transitioning from the day to day of The BLOCK Project, BLOCK Architects has expanded their project type to include shelters and sustainably driven single family homes.

As a small, passionate, family-run architectural firm, above all we value people and our relationships. This means that before we can design, we must listen; an approach that has brought us on many beautiful journeys with many beautiful people.
